hiya love!

I’m Alisha and I’m a 28 year old Manc lass who’s been living in Northern Ireland for the past nine years. I live with my boyfriend James and our tortoiseshell cat Frances (she’s 17 this year!). I live a relatively mundane life (I call it a soft life), and I’m still navigating through my twenties whilst also now coming to terms with the fact I turn 30 next year!

I am a jack of all trades and master of none when it comes to all things creative. I love writing, baking, cooking, crochet, reading, drawing, colouring, graphic designing, jewellery making – if you hadn’t been able to tell already, my speciality is learning a new talent or hobby (the hard part), doing it obsessively for a few months and then moving onto the next thing! But at least it means I never usually have to buy gifts or cards for my loved ones 😉

I originally started this blog back in 2020 to reignite my love of writing, and six years later…that’s still my goal! I usually write as a bit of an emotional outlet which means my writing inspiration comes in waves, but I’m determined to become more consistent and to dedicate more time and energy to do the things that I enjoy doing, which includes putting some love back into my blog ❤
